Ethiopian Girl Born with Eight Limbs Happy after Operation Success [VIDEO]

On June 27, 2012 ,a team of doctors and surgeons performed the first ever separation of parasitic twin from an adolescence Ethiopian girl.
17-year-old Workitu Dababa was born with two extra legs and two extra arms,a deformity called "parasitic twin".An incredibly rare occurrence of approximately only one per 7-10 million live births.

A Parasitic twin occurs when a twin embryo begins developing, but the pair do not fully separate, and one embryo maintains dominant development at the expense of the other.
According to Ethiopian news site Ezega, the girl's family hadn't sought medical attention earlier because of stigma and a cultural belief that she was cursed. Healthcare workers persuaded her family to speak with a doctor after noticing her condition.
Werkitu still wrapped in her hospital robe explained at a medical press conference following surgery, how her life was affected. She then walked slowly to show what a difference the surgery had made."Right now I feel like I am born again,” she said.
In the 8 hour surgical procedure doctors successfully removed the useless limbs along with extraneous internal organs at Cure Hospital,in the country’s capital Addis Ababa.
