An over enthusiastic Florida man had to pay heavy price for his seconds-long appearance onstage; with Niki Minaj. Trinidadian-born American music artist’s fan was beaten, kicked and wrestled offstage by both, the security and Niki’s band mates. The poor fan received the ‘treatment’ after he attempted to put his arms around Niki’s waist while she performed live.
The small drama taking place in Miami (Florida) the other night was captured and posted online on YouTube. The 29-year-old rapper Onika Tanya Maraj whom her fans recognize by her stage name Nicki Minaj, is known for her outrageous and revealing outfits. She is also well-known for flaunting the generous curves she’s been gifted by nature, while performing live. Last night’s incident proved the same yet again when her too revealing dress turned one of her fans crazy.
The clip shows how the crazy or over enthusiastic fan turned the entire Miami crowd’s attention towards him by jumping onstage. The moment he comes into the frame, the unidentified man tries to wrap his both hands around Niki’s waist. However, a burly security guard quickly grabs the poor man who was then subject to little physical torture onstage even by some of the band mates.
Before he eventually went down, the rapper’s band mates tried their best to land some blows and kicks on the ‘uninvited’ guest to the Miami concert. Totally unanticipated confrontation by the kind of dreadlocked fan however seemed to have little impact on Nicki as the singer continued to perform normally.
Apparently, the fan seemed to have no wrong intentions or intended malice; he rather appeared to simply dance with his loved singer or perhaps, to be photographed with her.
