Zenit claim Nani interest

Manchester United star Nani is rumoured to be unsettled at Old Trafford and now Russian side Zenit St Petersburg say they are keen.
Nani is understood to be prepared to listen to offers from other clubs as Manchester United fail to meet his expectations in terms of a new deal.

Last year's Premier League runners-up have not been able to come close to Nani's wage demands and current Russian champions Zenit St Petersburg are looking to swoop in for the winger.

Reports from Russia on Friday claim a formal offer has been made for the 25-year-old former Sporting Lisbon man.

Zenit coach Luciano Spalletti later confirmed he is interested in bringing Nani to the club.

"The news about Nani is true," Spalletti told RIA Novosti.

"Everything will depend on how much players cost because we won't pay excessive amounts of money."

Zenit have been linked with a number of players during the close season, one being out-of-favour United striker Dimitar Berbatov, and Spalletti has confirmed club officials are in talks with a number of players.
