Kill 2 policemen
Less than a week after the former Controller-General of Prison was killed, gunmen yesterday attacked the home of a former Secretary to the Government of the Federation (SGF), Alhaji Aminu Saleh, killing two policemen on duty.
The gunmen were said to have attacked the residence at about 8pm after the late evening prayer.
It was not clear as at the time of this report whether the former SGF was injured or killed.
Aminu Saleh is the father of the Deputy Governor of Bauchi State, Alhaji Sagir Saleh.
Efforts to get police confirmation did not succeed as at the time of filing this report.
The latest incidents have created fears in the minds of residents in the state.
