In this Fashion-conscious society ladies are fashion crazy to wear the latest clothes and shoes, just to show that they are current with the trends. The unfortunate thing about the situation with Nigeria is that we even try to outdo the Americans and the French as far as fashion is concerned.
A lady was recently spotted in her high-heeled shoes at a bus stop in Lagos which made her a centre of attraction. Unfortunately for her, she fell down while trying to catch up with the tri-cycle that she wanted to board. Did somebody not tell her that in Paris or New York, ladies in high heel shoes don’t run after molue or tricycles.
Some of the witnesses at the scene expressed their sympathy while some hissed at her, saying she was the cause of her own predicament. “Why would she wear such very high heeled shoes when she knew it was not comfortable for her?” they asked.
